Breakfast
Here at the Bellavista Hotel our dining room has two functions, breakfast and dinner. Please note Our restuarant is closed Wednesdays. Breakfast is served between 7:00 and 10:00 during weekdays and between 8:00 and 10:00 during weekends in the dining room which is situated at the front of the hotel resulting in spectacular views out onto Cork Harbour and Cobh Cathedral, the perfect way to start your day. Our breakfast menu is praised for having so much choice on offer to our guests. Starting with a continental buffet style breakfast table where you will find a selection of freshly baked breads, scones and muffins (all baked freshly each morning in our kitchen for you), fresh fruit, fruit salad, yoghurt, muesli, cereals, juice, milk, water and much more. As well as the continental buffet you can also choose from a wide range of hot options such as, Porridge, Full Irish Breakfast, Mini Irish Breakfast and more. Guests can also pick and choose items off the hot menu such as a slice of bacon or scrambled eggs or just tea and toast.
All our breakfasts are served with toast, butter, marmalade, jam, tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Decaffeinated tea or coffee is also available if required as are a number of flavoured teas and green tea and staff members are on hand to assist with your choice. When cooking your breakfast we use locally sourced produce and support local where possible. By doing this we can ensure you experience every aspect of this region while you stay here with us. All our cooked breakfast options are cooked to order so your food arrives to you fresh and hot without sitting under heating lamps all morning so please allow extra preparation time.
Dinner – Bellavista China Sea Restaurant
By evening our restaurant is an Oriental Restaurant. The China Sea Restaurant is a very popular restaurant both with guests and locals alike. The stylish surroundings and a tempting choice of Chinese and some European dishes make for a unique, informal and relaxed atmosphere. Our chefs use the freshest of ingredients with fresh food delivered daily to the kitchen to ensure that you enjoy a meal which is fit for a king. The Oriental Restaurant also has an extensive Take Away menu which suits many of our guests using Self-Catering Suites who feel like a night off cooking.
Bellavista Hotel Bar
The Bellavista Hotel bar is an intimate, welcoming, traditional Irish bar. Situated at the front of the building, like our dining room it commands uninterrupted sea views which make the perfect backdrop. Our Bar is an ideal place to unwind with a pint or glass of wine or choose from our extensive choice of whiskeys. We have the largest whiskey and gin selection in Cobh for you to enjoy. There is a balcony situated at the front of the bar extending the length of the hotel where you can sit and enjoy the views of Spike Island and the second largest natural harbour in the world. During the summer months each year up to 75 cruise liners sail up the harbour to berth or Cobh’s, deep water quay. Some of these liners can hold up to 5,000 passengers and are like floating cities, a sight that has to be seen to be believed. Our balcony is the perfect place to watch these massive liners come and go while having a drink.
